Stepping Up
Migrant Women Association Malta’s research on employment of asylum-seeking women, implemented through Project Stepping -Up under the Small Initiatives Support Scheme 2015, The Voluntary Organisations Fund within the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS).
MWAM’s Competence Handbook 
On the 15 of April 2019 through the Better Future Project that was funded by the U.S Department of Stat’s Julia Taft Fund for Refugee Protection and Assistance. Migrant Women Association Malta Published a Cultural Competence Handbook to improve mental health services for refugees, asylum seekers and migrant women who have experienced Sexual and Gender Based Violence.
MWAM’s Empowerment Circles
The Empowerment Circles Project, designed and carried out by Migrant Women
Association Malta, is funded through the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme
managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector on behalf of the Ministry for
Education and Employment. The core aim of the project is to support migrant
women living in Malta to build their confidence, communication and social skills, as
well as increase their employability.
