During the 16 Days of Activism, MWAM brought together staff, interns, volunteers, and beneficiaries for a powerful grassroots event:
“Hope to Action: Leading Together Against Gender-Based Violence.”
The event took place on 3 December 2025 at the Valletta Design Cluster and was funded through WAVE’s micro-grant support.
The programme included:
✨ An introduction to the 16 Days of Activism by MWAM President, Umayma Elamin
✨ Stories of resilience and empowerment shared by MWAM teams and beneficiaries
✨ A storytelling & self-care session facilitated by Nicolette Camilleri, Warranted Counsellor
