MWAM’s Sharing Happiness Together Events
On Saturday Migrant Women Association Malta their successful happy event launching which included the distribution of the clothes of Mango Malta for female asylum seekers and refugees of Malta.
What is Sharing happiness Together Events?
Sharing Happiness together are events that are part of “16 days of activism: a campaign of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” which is run by MWAM’s emergency response support services and projects
What have we done?
An event which was aimed to distribute Mango Malta’s clothes to the female asylum seekers and refugees at open centres.
MWAM’s team managed to welcome seven asylum seeker residents of Hal Far Hangar Open Centre from 11 am to 4 pm, taking into account the protective measures to prevent COVID-19 transmission.
What’s to expect next?
We are fully booked and are going to meet with the second group female asylum seekers and refugees to provide them with more clothing basics and other basic needs.
